SUMMARY

Brii Biosciences is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Project Manager to support discovery and early development programs. This entry-level position will provide project management and operational support to multidisciplinary teams spanning biology, chemistry, translational science, and research operations.

The Associate Project Manager will assist in planning, tracking, and coordinating complex R&D activities to ensure timely execution against scientific objectives and program milestones. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed research environment while adhering to Brii’s standards for quality, integrity, and accountability.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support project planning and execution for discovery-stage research programs.
  • Maintain integrated project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables across cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate project team meetings including agenda preparation, meeting minutes, and action-item follow-up.
  • Track program progress and proactively identify risks, issues, and potential resource constraints.
  • Prepare clear and concise project updates, dashboards, and presentation materials for internal team and governance reviews.
  • Serve as a central coordination point for project-related documentation and communications.
  • Support implementation of Brii project management standards, tools, and best practices within the discovery organization.
  • Assist with portfolio-level activities including prioritization, resource tracking, and program reporting.
  • Ensure alignment between scientific objectives and operational execution through disciplined follow-through and communication.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biomedical sciences, engineering, chemistry, or a related discipline.
  • 0–2 years of experience in project coordination, research operations, consulting, biotech, pharmaceutical, or academic research environments.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Fluency in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken) is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams).

 

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree or coursework in scientific, technical, or project management disciplines.
  • Exposure to biotech or pharmaceutical drug discovery and early development environments.
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Asana, Jira).
  • General understanding of cardiometabolic disease biology or translational research.
