工作概览
Brii Bio is seeking a highly motivated and skilled biologist candidate for our growing drug discovery team. The individual will be working in our state-of-the-art wet laboratory space Shanghai, China. The successful candidate will lead and conduct in vitro experimental biology studies in all phases of exploratory and discovery biology. The position will require a diverse skill set and knowledge base to include cell-free cell-line studies as well as primary cell biology. A deep understanding of in vitro biology based on oligonucleotide-based therapeutics is important, and it is also necessary to understand in vitro to in vivo translation into preclinical species as well as human studies. The candidate will be required to work independently on a variety of in vitro assays to screen, characterize and evaluate compounds. The individual will also be accountable to identify and develop assays and methods to characterize novel biology, delineate mechanisms to discover new drug candidates. The successful candidate will have a broad understanding of biophysics, biochemistry, cell and molecular biology, human genomics. This role will require working closely with a global discovery team to incorporate new technologies to facilitate the progression of novel clinical candidates that allow for maximal therapeutic impact and differentiation for patients. Primary responsibilities will be laboratory-based activities to design and execute in vitro experimental studies, generate data and report results to a broad program team. The candidate must have good organizational, writing and communication abilities to communicate results and ideas with other team members including non-scientists.
